VIRGINIA BEACH — Looking for a hobby? Try your hand at the farm life at Eco Adventure, a newly renovated Virginia Beach farmhouse decked out in modern flare.

“It’s not your classic farmhouse by any means,” said Realtor Lori Kneut.

Sitting on three acres of land, the one-floor farm house has three bedrooms and bathrooms. It accommodates six people with it’s updated and open floor plan.

Outside is just as nice. Eco Adventure has it’s own pond complete with a small waterfall and wildlife for animal lovers to admire.

“It’s really a great house just by itself, then it’s got all these neat little things,” said Kneut.

The property has its own herb and vegetable garden that tenants can pick for themselves. According to Kneut the owners of the home have cucumbers, peppers and watermelons currently growing on the property.

Tenants can also help themselves to fresh eggs from the chicken coop that resides on the property as well, which is tended to by a neighbor.

Located just three miles from Sandbridge Beach, the property is near a canal that leads to the Back Bay, making it a prime spot for kayaking and fishing.

The home is also in close proximity to restaurants and plenty of recreational spots, including Hell’s Point and Heron Ridge golf courses.

If golf isn’t of interest, there are hundreds of miles of public trails nearby for hiking and peaceful bike rides

“It’s really for someone who wants somethings a little different, maybe a fun different adventure with your kids,” said Kneut. “It’s a nice, different family thing that most people don’t get to experience that.”

This Eco Adventure is currently listed for rent at through Siebert Realty
