An Uber or cab aren’t your only transportation options on New Year’s Eve. “Tipsy Tow,” a service provided by AAA, aims to keep drunk drivers off the road for free.

According to the Tidewater AAA website, Hampton Roads drivers who have consumed too much alcohol may dial 1-800-AAA-HELP to request a free vehicle tow and ride home.

You do not need to be a AAA member in order to use this service.

The service is available from 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 to 6 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

AAA notes that service offers one-way, one-time rides that exclude other passengers. Reservations are not accepted and long-distance rides outside of the “Tipsy Tow” range will result in a fee.
