A Regent University student and Portsmouth native has achieved a perfect score on the American Chemical Society exam, a standardized test taken by first and second semester students enrolled in general chemistry classes across the country.
Jonee Lillard, a biophysical science major considering a medical career, scored a flawless 70 out of 70 on the exam, according to a release.
Lillard scored higher than 3,800 other test-takers from 34 colleges during the past two years. The second highest score was 53 out of 70.
The exam consists of 70 multiple choice questions and takes about two hours to complete.
