Driver charged with DUI after multi-vehicle accident in Virginia Beach

Two people were injured during a car accident in Virginia Beach on Sunday night.

Police were notified of the accident in the 3300 block of Buckner Blvd. around 9:39 p.m. Virginia Beach Police spokesperson Linda Keuhn said that the driver of an SUV was traveling east on Buckner Boulevard when they lost control. The SUV crossed the double yellow line and struck an oncoming vehicle head-on.

The driver of the SUV, 26-year-old Misdora Antrum, was arrested for a DUI 1st offense and DUI maiming.

Both drivers were removed from their cars by the Virginia Beach Fire Department. The second driver is still hospitalized.
