Baseball game of the day: Ocean Lakes at First Colonial, 5 p.m.

The Patriots (13-1) are coming off their first loss of the season Friday to Cox, while the Dolphins (10-4) haven’t played since their extra-inning loss last Tuesday to Kellam. Both clubs have deep pitching rotations and power hitting lineups. Don’t be surprised to see a low-scoring pitching dual in the Beach heavyweights’ first meeting of the season.

Boys soccer game of the day: Landstown at Cox, 7 p.m.

Cox (7-3, 0-1 Coastal Conference) looks to rebound after a 1-0 loss Friday against undefeated Ocean Lakes. Landstown (7-1-1, 0-0-1) sports a 5-0-1 record since mid-March after battling to a 1-1 tie against Kellam in its conference opener. The Falcons offense will have to generate and capitalize on opportunities against an Eagles defense that has allowed just three goals in nine games.

Girls soccer game of the day: First Colonial at Tallwood, 5:15 p.m.

The undefeated Patriots (9-0) take their showtime offense on the road against a hungry Lions (7-1-1) squad looking to make a statement in their conference opener. First Colonial’s attack has yet to be slowed, and its defense has posted shutouts in five straight games. Tallwood’s revamped front line has been equally impressive, posting a similar 5.5 goals per game.
