Jay Pharoah: The Saturday Night Live comedian returns to Hampton Roads with his signature style of stand-up comedy. The Chesapeake native has been on SNL for six years and is known for his impressions, including those of President Obama, Dr. Ben Carson, Stephen A. Smith of ESPN and Kanye West. Tickets start at $20.

MOCA Art Exhibits: Kick off your weekend and kick off a new season of exhibits at Virginia’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Take the water-based exhibits, meet the artists and enjoy food and drinks. Tickets are free for MOCA members and $10 for non-members. There will also be a cash bar.

Jackson Browne: The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer takes the stage to perform his greatest hits from his 14 albums, including “Take it Easy,” “These Days,” “The Pretenders” and “Somebody’s Baby.” Tickets begin at $63. This show was originally set for Jan. 8 but was rescheduled after Browne became ill. Tickets from that date will be honored.

Wings Over America: College Concert Series: Is “Pitch Perfect” one of your favorite movies? Do you want to see a real-life a cappella competition up-close and personal? Head over to the Sandler Center to see a sing-off between the Hullabahoos from the University of Virginia, who were featured in “Pitch Perfect” and “The Office,” and the Sensations of Virginia Tech. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation, which provides college scholarships to Navy dependents. This event was rescheduled from last weekend due to the weather.

63rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Sports and Boat Show: Dreaming of spending your summer on the water? Now’s your chance to check out the latest boat models. All of the major dealers are scheduled to attend with their 2016 models and lower prices on their leftovers from 2015. There will also be face painting for children and teaching stations to show attendees how to cast a net and tie a fly. Tickets are $8 for adults and free for children under 12.
When: noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
