Into the Woods: Old Dominion Theater is putting on their version of the Tony Award-winning musical. The play, which includes music and lyrics from Stephen Sondheim, tells the stories of some of everyone’s favorite characters, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and other characters inspired by the works of the Brothers Grimm. Tickets are $32.
When: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

35th Annual Tidewater RV Show: Ever thought of renting an RV for vacation? Curious what the inside of a really expensive one looks like? Check out the annual RV show featuring hundreds of new RVs, homes, travel trailers and accessories. Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $4 for children.
When: noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Wings Over America: College Concert Series: Is “Pitch Perfect” one of your favorite movies? Do you want to see a real-life a cappella competition up-close and personal? Head over to the Sandler Center to see a sing-off between the Hullabahoos from the University of Virginia, who actually were featured in “Pitch Perfect” and “The Office,” and the Sensations of Virginia Tech. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds go to the Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation, which provides college scholarships to Navy dependents.

Open Mic Night: Have a passion for singing, dancing, telling jokes or just talking? Zeiders American Dream Theater is calling on all performers to show their stuff at Open Mic Night. Any local performer is welcome to show up and sign in at the door. Those who don’t want to get on stage are invited to watch. Admission is $5.
