Jackson Browne: The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer takes the stage to perform his greatest hits from his 14 albums, including “Take it Easy,” “These Days,” “The Pretenders” and “Somebody’s Baby.” Tickets begin at $63.

When: 8 p.m. Friday

Where: The Sandler Center

2016 Hampton Roads International Auto Show: Every auto dealer that belongs to the Hampton Roads Auto Dealers Association will have its latest models on display to show the latest innovations. HRADA promises that there are will be sales negotiations at the event, so visitors don’t feel pressure to buy.

When: 10 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Where: Virginia Beach Convention Center

9th Annual African-American Male Summit: High school male students are invited to attend the summit, titled “Beyond Dr. Martin Luther King’s Dream: Building Your Brand.” Gary McCollum, a recent candidate for Virginia’s 7th State Senate District, is the keynote speaker. The event also features a Parent Institute.

When: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday

Where: Salem High School

Rec Center Open House: Looking to keep up that New Year’s resolution to get in shape? The Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Department is offering a special one-year membership for $60 to celebrate the department’s 60th anniversary. Each open house will have tours, food trucks, fitness class demonstrations and children’s activities.

When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday
