Last Night on the Town: Spend a few hours or all day and night at this event. Entertainment for children with stilt walkers, a cirque mime troupe and animated characters begins at 2 p.m. The evening features live music, headlined by the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, and food and drinks for purchase. There is also a VIP tent with tickets still available for access to hors d’oeuvers, two drink tickets, a cash bar, a heated tent, party favors, a Champagne toast at midnight and the closest spots for the ball drop. VIP tickets cost $100. The event itself is free to attend.

Abbey Road Pub and Restaurant: Two entrees, soup or salad, desserts, a bottle of wine or Champagne, a Champagne toast at midnight and live music from Who’s In the Corner? for $69.95. Address: 203 22nd St.
Boneshakers Sports Bar and Grill: Greg Gutty & The Port of Reign perform beginning at 9 p.m. The night also includes two dinner specials and a midnight toast. Address: 1297 General Booth Blvd.
Calypso Bar & Grill: Two DJs — DJ Nature and DJ Litt — will keep the music going all night, beginning at 6 p.m. The “New Year’s Eve Bash” features $4 drinks, a Champagne toast and hors d’oeuvers for a $20 cover charge. Address: 1101 Atlantic Ave.
Doc Taylor’s Seaside Market Lounge: Seth Stainback & Roosterfoot take the stage at 9 p.m. and will perform for a 150-person audience. Appetizers and a midnight Champagne toast are included with the ticket price — $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Address: 209 23rd St.
Eagles Nest: Country music fans are invited to ring in the new year with Casey Jamerson beginning at 10 p.m. Tickets are $9.73 in advance and $20 at the door. Party favors and a Champagne toast is included. Address: 600 Nevan Rd.
Froggies Cantina on the Bay: A four-course meal, two drink tickets, a Champagne toast and live music from the Almost Famous Band are included in the $45 ticket. Address: 3656 Shore Dr.
Hot Tuna: An all-inclusive package that costs $85 in advance and $100 the day of includes all drinks, food, party favors, live entertainment from Spin City and a toast at midnight. General admission, which doesn’t include drinks or food, is $20. Address: 2817 Shore Dr.
Murphy’s Virginia Beach: Guests can spend $35 to get a four-course dinner, party favors, a toast and live music from The Jesse Chong Band or pay a $10 cover charge to enjoy the entertainment beginning at 10 p.m. Address: 2914 Pacific Ave.
Waterman’s Surfside Grille: Three music acts perform in three spots at this party: Cheap Thrills in the Attic, DJ Dexx in the Main Bar & DJ Shaw on the Heated Patio. Tickets, which include a limited open bar and late-night snacks, are $79.99. Address: 5th Street and Atlantic Avenue
