Farmers’ Fair: Local farmers and artisans are gathering the first three Thursdays in November and December to sell their products to the community. Vendors include: Artisans Bakery, Flutterby Soap Co., Gateuax Baker, Neighborhood Harvest and Pat’s Pot Pies. There will also be live music.

When: 4 p.m to 7 p.m. Thursday

“An Enemy of the People”: The Little Theater of Virginia Beach will be putting on this classic play, written by Henrik Ibsen. Matt Downey directs the production, which begins Friday and runs until Dec. 6. Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students, active-military members and seniors. There are discounted tickets for the Sunday matinees.

When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Sunday

Bill Engvall: Comedian Bill Engvall brings his show to Virginia Beach. He is best known for his “Here’s your sign” jokes and his time on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. Tickets start at $48 plus service fees.

When: 8 p.m. Friday

Where: The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts

India Fest: The 20th annual India Fest features all aspects of Asian Indian culture. The goal is to create awareness about Indian culture and show the diversity of the area through arts and crafts, performances, food and fashion shows. The event is free.

When: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday
