She had such a strong love for her faith, God, family and was a wonderful example with her selfless character of always giving to others. She was very active in her church and choir at St. John’s Russian Orthodox Church in Mayfield, Pennsylvania, and St. Joseph’s of Optina Russian Orthodox Church in Virginia Beach. When asked how she wanted to be remembered, she left us with her written words, “Love one another, be kind.”
A private ceremony will be held at Colonial Grove Memorial Park and a celebration of her life at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Virginia Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation for their loving care these past several years.
Those who wish to remember Olga in a special way may contribute to St. Joseph of Optina Russian Orthodox Church, 810 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457.
