Rebekah Lynn Hall, 29, generous friend who went out of her way to help others

Rebekah Lynn Hall, 29, passed away the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, in Virginia Beach. She was the wife of Eric M. Brown.

Rebekah was born in Steven’s Point, Wisconsin, to James Michael Hall and Michelle Hall (Stanislawski). She has two brothers, James Hall and Wyatt Hall; and a sister by choice, Jennifer Kidwell.

She was employed at Movement Mortgage. Rebekah loved the beach and playing with her two foster dogs, Rex and Ginny. She was a loving and generous friend who would often go out of her way to help anyone in need. Her laughter and good humor were infectious. Rebekah loved traveling and was excited to go everywhere, from seeing her family in the Midwest, to traveling with her husband to Ireland.

She is survived by her husband, parents, siblings, dogs and godson.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at Thalia Lynn Baptist Church with a viewing at 3 p.m., service at 4 p.m. and reception following services in the Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Virginia Beach SPCA.

Rebekah will be sorely missed, but remembered through her vivacity and kindness.
