Robert Delna “Wildman” Robertson Jr., 63, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at home in Virginia Beach.
He was born in Rocky Mount, and his family relocated to Hampton Roads. There, he attended school and later went on to work at the Ford Motor plant on the transmission assembly line.
He loved fishing, NASCAR, camping and the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved music, especially the Rolling Stones. He adored his children, grandchildren, mother, deceased father and brother, and especially his dog, “Boss.” Family and friends meant the world to him.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Ann F. Robertson; daughters, Stephanie Hutter (Robert) and Cindy Robertson; sons, Bobby Dell Robertson (Alexis Dean), Christopher Robertson and Corey Robertson; grandchildren, Ashley Hutter, Olivia Hutter, Clyde Hunter IV, Levi Robertson, Autumn Robertson and Leanna Robertson; sisters, Teresa Hartman (Bobby) and Brenda Leeson (Mike); and numerous nieces and nephews and so many friends! He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Robertson Sr.; brother, David “Bo” Robertson; and grandparents, Moses and Cora Robertson and Henry and Annie Forbes.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Jeff Russell for supporting him through his treatments.
A visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, with a chapel service at 1 p.m. Friends and family are welcomed to gather at his home following the chapel service.
