Antionette Marie Cook, 65, of Virginia Beach, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019. Antionette was born Jan. 25, 1954, to Emma Crews and the late Samuel Cook.

She attended First Colonial High School. Soon after high school, she became a housekeeper. Ms. Cook loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and its Usher Board.

Antionette’s hobbies included crosswords puzzles and playing bingo.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart Crews.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Ruth Cook and Elroy Cook; three sisters, Nadine Motley, Gail Gregg and Laura Crews; brother, Chris Crews; four grandchildren, Justin Jones, Kierra McKay, Tonya Jenkins and Jordynne Wicker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, at Beach Funeral & Cremation Services, 4456 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home.
