Terisa Ann “Terry” Flint, 64, of Virginia Beach, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, after a long struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends.
Terry was born June 17, 1955, in San Diego, California, the second child of Jack and Jean Hall. She attended school in Hampton and graduated from Hampton High School in 1974.
Terry was married to Mick Flint on Dec. 8, 2001. They were married 17 years.
Terry worked as an auditor for Nash Finch, Military Distributors of Virginia for a number of years. She retired on June 15, 2018. She attended church at First Baptist Church of Norfolk. Terry loved working with her flowers. Mick, Terry and many friends loved to meet and camp together even if it was just to a Virginia Beach campground for a long weekend. Her sense of humor brightened everyone’s life she touched; she had a way of making everyone laugh.
Terry is survived by her husband, Mick Flint; stepchildren, Jennifer (Nicolas) Ajkay and Andrea Noe; mother, Jean (Burnie) White; sister, Debbie (Wayne) Chappell; brothers, Jack Hall and Greg (Roxanne) Hall; and many step-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hall Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. Chris Chappell, Terry’s nephew, will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. the same day.
