Randy Russell Turner, 61, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, in Virginia Beach. He was born June 12, 1958, to Nancy and Charles Turner Sr.
Randy was a painter in residential remodel. He was known as a somewhat stubborn man with no filter to those who knew him, and was an amazing father, grandfather, and would’ve made a wonderful great-grandfather.
Randy loved to spend his time with his family, eating good food and sharing good times. He was an avid NASCAR fan and always rooted for Kyle Busch. Like every great man in America, Randy chose to support the Washing Redskins and liked to listen to the “Hillbilly Weatherman.” Although he loved his hobbies, nothing could come close to the joy he was brought by spending time with his grandchildren. All he needed to put a smile on his face was his family, a McDonald’s sweet tea and delicious food.
Randy is survived by two daughters, six precious grandchildren and a great-granddaughter on the way.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations.
