Helena Beth Stiglets, 37, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, with her beloved wife, Suzanne, by her side. She was born Dec. 25, 1981, to Kathi Lynn Martinez and the late Kenneth Miller.
Helena was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Since moving back to Norfolk last year to be near her family, she was a dedicated night supervisor at Wawa and owner of The Clean Image LLC. She spent many years working as a barista and had a gift for making her customers smile. Helena was one of a kind, brave and eclectic. She never met a stranger and would always fight for the underdog. She had a passion for life and loved her family, wife, fur babies and Tori Amos.
She is survived by her wife, Suzanne; three children, Destiny, Alex and Angel; mother, Kathi Martinez (Donald); brother, Mike Martinez (Dawn); sister, Jennifer; nieces and nephews; and many loving extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon, Monday, June 3, at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Southside Chapel, 5033 Rouse Drive,
Virginia Beach. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon prior to services.
