Clarita Millado Valdez, 84, remembered for her kindness and wisdom

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clarita Millado Valdez, 84, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at her home. She was born in Gerona, Tarlac, Philippines, to Vicente and Irene Millado.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking and playing bingo with her friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Her love for her family and friends are truly cherished.

Clarita is survived by her daughter, Annabelle Siedschlag, and her husband, David; son, Alan Valdez, and his wife, Marilyn; grandchildren, Irene, Benjamin, Douglas, Marcus, Travis, Hunter and Derek; and great-grandchildren, Amir, Hakeem and Anneliese.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin Ebron Valdez; brothers and sisters, Pacita, Gudalupe, Ana Belen, Gicerio, Hovencio, Victoro, Elisa and Vicente.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, wisdom, strength, beauty and her love for her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, May 10, and Monday, May 13, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. An additional visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, with a Mass of the Resurrection following at noon. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
