Marciana Fernandez Vidal, 99, of Virginia Beach, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.
Born in the Philippines she was a retired school principal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Anapuen Vidal; son, Alexander Vidal; and daughter, Virginia Vidal.
Left to cherish her memory are six daughters, Luzminda Parris, Florentino Sartain, and her husband, Robert, Zeniada Contado, and her husband, Ermie, Remedios Senense, and her husband, Eliseo, Miriam Vidal and Myra Salome, and her husband, Elmer Macaraeg; daughter-in-law, Carmelita Vidal; five sons, Herodutus Vidal, and his wife, Generosa, Jonathan Vidal, and his wife, Josifino, Melchor Vidal, and his wife, Marjorie, and Solomon Vidal Jr., and his wife, Bonita; and numerous grandchildren, sisters and brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
