Nicholas Paul “Nick” Bruner, 30, was born July 1, 1988, in Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, in Virginia Beach.
Nicholas is survived by his two beloved sons, Maximus Preston Bruner, 9, and David Copeland Bruner, 8. He is also survived by his parents, David and Becky Bruner of Virginia Beach; as well as his sisters, Lacy Agha, and her husband, Adonis, of Portsmouth, and Hannah Garcia, and her husband, Dominick Garcia, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; brother, Jeremiah Bruner of Virginia Beach; sister, Madison Carter, and her husband, Jonathan Carter, of Virginia Beach; and niece and nephew, Lydia and River, who completely owned his heart.
Nick was employed with Apple Inc. as a technical specialist at a local Apple Store. His gift of words, and his genuine love for all people made him excel in his job. Nick was a gifted artist who had a great passion for music, words, cooking and all things family. He most loved his role as a daddy to Max and Copie and his best girl was forever his sweet momma, Becky. Nick left this world a better place by sharing beauty and songs and poetry and ideas with those who loved him most.
A visitation with the family will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10, at the Suburban Christian Church, 5132 Bellamy Manor Drive, Virginia Beach. This will be immediately followed by celebration of Nick’s life at 11 a.m. at the church.
