Walter M. Lisicki, 73, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018. A native of Chester, Pennsylvania, he was born to Walter and Lucy Lisicki.

Walter proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years before retiring as a senior chief radioman. After retiring, he got his degree at St. Leo University in Virginia Beach. He loved Bonsai and was a member as well as a past president of the Bonsai Society for over 20 years. He was happiest at family dinners sharing stories.

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Josephine; loving son, Edric Lisicki; loving daughter, Cashel Lisiski; grandson, Mikhail Lisicki; granddaughter, Maggie Lisicki; and sisters, Connie Shoemaker, Adel Ducine, Faith Hastings and Melinee Kowal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, at H.D. Oliver Laskin Road Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, with burial to follow in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery.
