Husband, father, brother, friend and avid duck hunter, William “Billy” Petree Jr., joined his parents early Saturday morning, March 24, 2018, after an adventurous life dedicated to the outdoors as a park ranger for over 30 years with Virginia State Parks and the City of Chesapeake.

To continue the “duck hunt” of life, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Petree; children, Virginia Eastwood, and her husband, Colin, Angela Jones, and her husband, Taylor, and Jessica Horton, and her husband, Corey; grandchildren, Callie, Chase, Emmarie and Scarlett; sisters, Gail Deans, and her husband, Ed, and Carol Pauley, and her husband, Doug; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

There is a special place in heaven for the father of three girls.

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 30, at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel.
