Frank Joseph Johnson, 73, of Virginia Beach, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016. Frank was born in Augusta, Ga., to the late William Burton Johnson and Lois (Loice Taylor) Johnson, longtime residents of Savannah, Ga., and Miami, Fla.

Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and founder and co-owner of North Metro Stucco located in the Atlanta area. He retired and sold the business in 2012 due to health complications.

Frank is survived by his wife, Bonnie M. Johnson; three sons, Cary W. Johnson, and his wife, Beth, of Marshville, N.C., Corey D. Johnson of Virginia Beach, and Damon P. Johnson, and his wife, Tina, of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren, Haley, Amber, Grant and Bryan.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21,  for visitation at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake, and from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Carter Funeral Home, Winder, Ga. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder, Ga.
