William Edward “Will” Gervais, 17, of Virginia Beach, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016.
Will was born in Bremerton, Wash., and was immediately loved and adored by his parents, Brian and Chrissy.
In addition to his mom and dad, Will leaves his sisters, Meghan and Emma; brother, Michael; and great-grandpa, Grammie and Papa, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In his short time here with us, Will brought an immeasurable amount of joy, laughter, pride, love and happiness to anyone who knew him. Will was an accomplished student in his senior year at Ocean Lakes High School’s Math and Science Academy. He had attended Kemps Landing Magnet School, where he found his love for music. Will was the recipient of many awards and honors for both academics and music.
Anyone who knew Will, knows he was smart, funny, sarcastic and had the biggest smile and the absolute best laugh. He was kind, generous, loving and an all-around amazing young man.
Will adored his younger sisters and was always there to help them with whatever they needed. He had an extra special relationship with his little brother, Mikey, who shared Will’s love for video games and joking people. His grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all loved him beyond measure. Will was a friendly guy and had many friends, teachers and acquaintances who admired and respected him. He was the air that his mom breathed and his Dad’s very best friend.
