Margaret Pauline Catron Landrum, 88, extended good to every person she met

Margaret Pauline Catron Landrum, 88, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2015.

Born in Rich Valley Virginia, she pre-deceased by her husband James H. Landrum Sr. and was a member of Francis Asbury Methodist Church in Virginia Beach. She was survived by her brother David Catron, her sister, Eunice Bower of Saltville, Virginia, her daughter, Patricia/husband James Perry, their children, Nicholas and Justin of Virginia Beach, son, James/wife, Peggy Landrum, their children Clark, Grant, Lauren and Virginia, great grand children, Camille and Caroline of Tulsa Oklahoma, and son, John/wife Georgia Landrum, grandson John of Staten Island, New York.

As a loving mother she instilled the very essence of good in each of her children and grandchildren to guide them throughout life. It was the same good she extended to every person that came in contact with her. Long on patience, always available to lend an ear, provided advice when asked and never afraid to speak her mind when necessary.

Pauline was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church , Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Thoroughgood Chapter, the Norfolk Botanical Garden Society (Rose Society), Virginia Genealogical Society  and the personal Cluckers Club, made up of dear friends and associates.

Grave side services were held December 1 at Princess Anne Memorial Park, Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach.
