Catherine “Neicie” Denise Bunton Clark, of Virginia Beach, died unexpectedly on Oct. 24, 2015, at her home. She was 63.

A native of Virginia Beach, she was the daughter of the late Edward LeRoy Bunton and Marjorie Lane Bunton Dunn. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Bunton Pritchard.

She was a graduate of Kellam High School and worked at Phillips Automotive in the Collision Center for many years. She was a loving mom, but she was the most proud of her two grandsons, Will and Wes. She was a favorite aunt to her 22 nieces and nephews who remember her as the life of the party, the “fun one.” She enjoyed being creative in her garden.

Neicie will be greatly missed by her loving daughter, Suzi Harrell, her husband Chuck and her son, LeRoy Deaver. She had two grandsons, Will and Wes, whom she loved beyond dearly. She is also survived by her sisters, Lou Phillips and husband Tench, Liz Miller, Royce Georgiades and husband John and Martha Hughes and husband Dale as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition, she will be missed by her stepfather and his wife, John and Karen Dunn. She was loved by many, especially her two neighbors, Lucy and Shirley.

A memorial service to celebrate Neicie’s life will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Coates.

Neicie would want you to remember Hope Haven or the Union Mission in lieu of flowers.

Please leave online condolences for the family at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts.
