NORFOLK — The 11th annual Dogs Gone Swimming Fundraiser is back again this year to raise money for the Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center.

The event will be on Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Norfolk Fitness and Wellness Center will be hosting a family and dog friendly swim day to raise money to support a variety of programs for the animal care center including medical care, fostering, adoption and more.

In addition to swimmers, the animal care center is looking for sponsors and vendors to help support the event.

All proceeds will go to assist homeless animals in the community, officials said.
