NORFOLK — The city will be hosting a second kitten yoga event aimed at making adoptable kittens available to the public.

On Sept. 21 at MacArthur Center’s Live 360 Studio, residents can come and do some yoga with instructor Annie VanHook, owner and instructor with Yoga 108.

Practice yoga with her at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.

VanHook is also a kitten foster mom for Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center.

The kittens at the yoga event will all be up for adoption after a bumper crop of spring kittens came to the adoption center, officials said.

Participants are encouraged to register ahead of time and give a $5 donation to be a part of the event, officials noted.

The funds collected from the event will support the spaying, neutering, medical care and adoption needs of the adoption center.

This yoga session is session two of three.
