VIRGINIA BEACH — The public is invited to a meeting Aug. 22 to review updates to the city’s Resort Area Strategic Action Plan.

It will be at 6 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

Since the adoption of RASAP in December 2008 there’s been a great deal of development and officials believe it’s time to refresh goals and establish new priorities, according to a news release.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting to view design concepts and offer input on important topics including connected green/open spaces, gateways/placemaking, mobility planning, streetscape design and key development initiatives.
