The average price of a home sold in Hampton Roads during the second quarter of 2019 was nearly 3.5% higher than the same quarter last year, at just under $275,0000.
The Rose & Womble Market Snapshot indicators were by and large positive for both home buyers and seller, with more homes selling, more homes selling faster and interest rates remaining favorable for buyers.
Home sales started to decline in the third quarter of 2018, a trend that will be watched now that the first month of that quarter is nearly coming to a close.
