Attention local artists and crafters: the Chelsea West Fest needs you

NORFOLK — The Chelsea West Fest is already preparing for its 2019 festival on Oct. 5 and organizers are currently looking for local artists and crafters who’d like to participate.

The Chelsea West Fest is a local maker’s festival featuring everything local from entertainment to food, kid’s activities to produce and brews.

The fest is free and open to the public.

Local artists and crafters are encouraged to apply in a variety of mediums such as pottery, quilting, soap making, wood carving, blacksmithing and so on, officials said.

Applications are due Aug. 26.

All proceeds from Chelsea West Fest benefit Hope House Foundation, which provides support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hampton Roads.
