Hey, here’s a ‘Teeny Tiny Farm’

VIRGINIA BEACH — The Teeny Tiny Farm will be visiting the city’s public library locations all throughout July, bringing small animals for kids to play with for free.

The travelling petting zoo will put on a barnyard party with miniature farm animals, a suitable program for children of all ages.

Registration is not required for the event so be sure to arrive well in advance of the program time as admittance is first come first served.

Virginia’s Teeny Tiny Farm brings miniature farm animals to all sorts of venues across the state.

The petting zoo includes the following farm animals: miniature horse, miniature donkey, miniature llama or alpaca, little goats, sheep, miniature pig, miniature cow and multiple bunnies.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday, July 10 at the Oceanfront branch from 11 a.m. to noon.
  • Monday, July 15 at the Kempsville branch from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 23 at the Great Neck branch from 11 a.m. to noon.
