VIRGINIA BEACH — The city is inviting residents to provide feedback on its Resort Area Strategic Action Plan by completing an online survey.

Ideas and comments about the plan will be used to understand what features are important to residents, city officials said.

RASAP, which was adopted in 2008, was developed with an overall focus on attracting residents and visitors to the area, city officials said in a news release.

The city, along with the Work Program Architects consultant team, is asking for public input to help refresh the goals and initiatives of the RASAP and to establish new priorities for the next decade of growth in the Resort Area.

The RASAP focus areas include:

  • Mobility planning
  • Streetscape design
  • Gateways/Sense of arrival
  • Open spaces
  • Current development projects
  • Resort and residential development

The survey will be available through July 2.
