There will be new murals, artist talks, national, regional and local artists visiting and mainly a lot of celebration of the art, the NEON District said in a Facebook post.
Starting Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be a Norfolk Street Museum artist meet and greet at O’Connor Brewing.
There, people will get to join the 2019 muralists and curators for an informal toast to the completion of the festival’s art in addition to meeting all those involved in the creation of the areas new murals, according to the event’s website.
Saturday is when the rest of the festivities kick off.
At 10 a.m. there will be the Freshtopia Public Art Bike Ride where residents can join Freshtopia for its weekly public art bike ride to explore the new murals in the Railroad District in Park Place.
Then starting at noon and running through the rest of the day people can check out a community fair, the O’Connoroo Summer Carnival, and other free, family-friendly events.

The city’s emerging Railroad District sits along the N&W Railway in Park Place and is comprised of several breweries, eateries, repair shops and offices.
