NORFOLK — The city’s Recreation, Parks and Open Space department will be hosting a Night of the Arts in the NEON District.

It will be on May 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event will take place on 776 Granby St. and will feature live music, dance performances, and will have jewelry, artwork and crafts on display, officials said in a news release.

This event is free and open to the public.

This will be the NEON District’s first ever Night of the Arts and will be a celebration of all the unique visual and performing arts classes available through the city’s recreation centers.

Students from dance classes will perform on the Plot stage and local artists can exhibit their work in a pop up exhibition.
