The Chesapeake Jubilee will be on May 18 and it is known region-wide for putting on a spectacular fireworks show.

The fireworks come from Zambelli Fireworks Internationale, a Pennsylvania-based company, and their fireworks displays come with a complete sensory experience, officials said in a news release.

Those who attend the jubilee and those in the surrounding areas will see a variety of shells and high intensity, multi-shot devices in the night sky.

The fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. at Chesapeake City Park, 900 City Park Drive off Greenbrier Parkway.
