The legendary Statsraad Lehmkuhl will be making its only United States visit from March 8 to March 15 in Downtown Norfolk.

The Statsraad Lehmkuhl, currently sailed by the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy’s first-year cadets, will sail into Downtown Norfolk’s Otter Berth in between Town Point Park and Waterside District for the 14th occasion, according to a city news release.

The ship is scheduled for a week-long stay and will provide public educational tours on board.

Norfolk is the only port of call in the United States for the Statsraad Lehmkuhl.

The ship will be open to the public for free educational tours on March 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those interested in seeing the ship pull into port can do so on March 8 at approximately 10 a.m., timing subject to change based on weather.
