Don’t bother driving this road, it’s closed

VIRGINIA BEACH — Starting Monday, Feb. 18, utility work will cause a portion of North Lynnhaven Road to close.

To safely facilitate the work, a portion of North Lynnhaven Road near the intersection with Virginia Beach Boulevard will be temporarily closed.

The closure is expected to be in place until mid-April, weather permitting.

Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the utility work, according to the city.

Residents will have access to their properties at all times.
