A local coffee shop is calling for baristas, and it’s not for jobs

NORFOLK — In honor of Cure Coffeehouse’s 8th birthday, the coffee shop is hosting a Latte Art Throw-Down for all baristas in the 757.

The Throw-Down will take place on March 2 from 6 to 10 p.m. at 503 Botetourt Street in Norfolk.

Cure Coffeehouse announced its upcoming event on Facebook, saying that Latte art throw-downs are a fun way for coffee professionals to show off their skills and win some prizes.
