VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.

Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
Here’s this week’s list:
Gregory Julian Ziglar, 59, is wanted for assault and battery, police said. The warrant was issued in October. Ziglar’s last known address was on Grosvenor Court in Virginia Beach and police said he works in construction.
Nicholas John Zaputil, 33, is wanted for failing to appear in court on a DUI charge issued October, police said. Zaputil’s last known address was on Bluefish Lane in Virginia Beach and he has his last name tattooed on his back and a tribal band around his right arm.
Robert Dennis Abt II, 32, is wanted for revocation of a suspended sentence that was issued October 2018, police said. Abt’s last known address was on Bernstein Drive in Virginia Beach and he has a tattoo on his right arm and a name tattooed across his back.
Sylvester Wanya Abrams, 23, is wanted for revocation of a suspended sentence issued in August, police said. His last known address was on Tappanzee Court in Virginia Beach and he likes to spend time at the Oceanfront.
