VIRGINIA BEACH — Southside Daily has partnered with the city’s police department and the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers to raise awareness about persons of interest in the city.
Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization that accepts completely anonymous tips from residents about criminal activity. Information from tipsters is shared with police, but remains completely anonymous — no identifying information of sources is ever disclosed and the anonymity of tipsters is protected by state law.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about any of these people to contact Virginia Beach Crime Solvers.
Tipsters could also be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
Here’s this week’s list:
Aaron Gene Lundy, 29, is wanted for failing to appear in court for a community corrections program violation, police said. Lundy promised the courts he would turn himself into Virginia Beach Police headquarters on Aug. 22, but never did. Lundy is most likely staying in Norfolk, police said.
Richard John Whelan, 57, has had a suspended sentence revoked because of a probation violation — which is a felony, police said. The warrant for his arrest has been on file for more than a year, police said. Whelan’s last known address was on 20th Street in Virginia Beach.
Stephane Melisa Miller, 52, also had her suspended sentence revoked after violating probation, police said. Miller has been wanted since the warrant was issued in March. Miller’s last known address was in Salem, Virginia.
Falanzo Dequan Perry, 37, is wanted for grand larceny and two counts of contempt of court, police said. Perry is known to work landscaping jobs, police said, but they do not know where Perry is currently living.
Patricia Annette White, 49, had her suspended sentence revoked after violating probation, police said, which is a felony. Her last known address was on Springhill Road in Norfolk.
