Man charged with murder in connection to C Avenue shooting

NORFOLK — A 38-year-old man is accused of shooting another to death on C Avenue.

Akeis Rolax is charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of 52-year-old William James White, Jr., according to the Norfolk Police Department.

White was found shot outside of a home in the 700 block of C Avenue on March 21. He died on the scene.

Rolax was arrested on March 31. He is also charged with using a gun in the commission of a felony. He’s being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
