Police: Armed man robs Ghent Chanello’s

NORFOLK — Norfolk police are searching for man who allegedly stole money from a Ghent Pizza parlor on Sunday afternoon.

The suspect came into Chanello’s Pizza, showed that he had a gun and stole money from a clerk before fleeing the 901 W. 21st St. restaurant on foot, according to the Norfolk Police Department.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the man as being 5-feet-7-inches tall. According to the NPD, he was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, jeans and black shoes with white stripes on them.
