Norfolk police investigate Robin Hood Road shooting

NORFOLK — A 20-year-old man was shot on Robin Hood Road on Tuesday morning, according to police.

Norfolk Police officers were called to the 3800 block of Atterbury Street around 10:50 a.m. for reports of a “gunshot disturbance.” When they arrived, they found a 20-year-old man in the area who’d been shot, according to the NPD.

He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and is expected to survive his injury.

Police believe the man was shot in the 3800 block of Robin Hood Road. According to the NPD, he was walking in that area when he heard gunshots, realized he’d been hit and ran around the corner to Atterbury Street.
