Virginia Beach Police search for armed bank robber

VIRGINIA BEACH — Police are searching for an armed man accused of robbing a Virginia Beach bank Monday afternoon.

A BB&T located at 839 Lynnhaven Parkway was robbed by a man with a gun around 2:21 p.m. The suspect fled on foot after stealing an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
