73-year-old man accused of murdering his wife on Five Forks Road

VIRGINIA BEACH — A 73-year-old man is accused of murdering his wife in Virginia Beach.

Medics responded to the 1700 block of Five Forks Road at 8:29 a.m. on Monday where they found a man suffering from a life-threatening injury. They called police to the scene when they found 75-year-old Marlene Tooke Woltz dead in the home, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.

Charged with second-degree murder is Richard Wayne Woltz, of the 1700 block of Five Forks Road. He’s being held by the Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office.
