Norfolk police: Body found in Elizabeth River

NORFOLK – An unidentified body was found in the Elizabeth River on Monday afternoon, police said.

Around 1 p.m., police were notified of a body in the river near the 300 block of Waterside Drive near Town Point Park. Officer Daniel Hudson said that first responders located a man’s body near the docks.

Police ask anyone with information about the unclassified death to call 888-LOCK-U-UP.
