One injured in Dandy Court shooting Thursday afternoon

A person was injured during a shooting on Dandy Court Thursday afternoon.

Police say they responded to the shooting on the 5100 block of Dandy Court around 4:15 p.m. and found a victim suffering a non-life threatening injury, according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.
