Saville Garden Way in Virginia Beach will temporarily close beginning Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 9 a.m. as crews install storm drains and utilities for the Holland Road connector project.
The road will be reopen for traffic Thursday, according to a Virginia Department of Transportation release.
Local traffic can use Chestnut Oak Way, English Oak Court or Berry Garden Way t0 get to Saville Garden Way neighborhoods. Drivers on Holland Road will not be affected by the roadwork, according to the VDOT release.
The Holland Road Connector project will expand the road to four lanes for 2.5 miles between north of Dam Neck Road to the south of Nimmo Parkway. The project is expected to be complete in October 2017, according to VDOT’s website.
