Virginia Beach police investigate Oceanfront shooting

Virginia Beach police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting at the Oceanfront.

A man was shot in the 300 block of 25th Street around 6:30 p.m. He was taken to an area hospital with a serious injury, according to a Virginia Beach Police Department news release.

Police have no suspect information to release at this time, but urge citizens with information on this crime to call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text a tip to 274637.
